Hello, Laura. Yes, you are right. The magnesium absorption differs as the day from night. I will add a couple of links where you can read about differences. In short, the magnesium oxide absorption rate is 4% when ReMag absorbs at the 100% rate. You would ask why is so big difference? It is all about bioavailability and ions' ability to get straight into cells.
Please check these articles and you will see what it is about.
All the best, be healthy and wealthy, Nemira

I had a CVA in March 2019 (I am fine now) just some short term memory loss as well as some other medical problems. I was told to start Magnesium 250 mg. gels a couple months ago so I bought them. Now I find out there's different types of Magnesium. What I take is Magnesium Oxide 259 mg by Nature Made. Is one better then the other? Laura

Hi, Gabby. Unfortunately, it is a reality. We do not get vital minerals with food anymore. Seeds, nuts have magnesium but it is not enough l Food supplements help in the best way because it do straight to the cells as ReMag.

All the best, Nemira

I knew magnesium plays an important part in our brain health, but I wasn't aware about the link between stroke. It is good to hear doctors are using magnesium as a medicin.
Is there a way we can get it in our diet? Would you recommend certain food?
Possible consuming fish or more veggies?

Hello, Joane. People have own opinions regarding every topic. The health and wellbeing is not exception. I prefer to listen doctor and scientists advice because they are professionals in particular areas.

Magnesium can not harm because it is removed from the body when is to much of it. You can take magnesium constantly because we do not get magnesium with food. It is better to take magnesium which does not have laxative effects such as magnesium citrate or ReMag from Dr. Carolyn Dean.

All the best, Nemira

Hello Nemira, thankyou for your article, it was good reading. I never thought magnesium was so important till now. Someone told me once not to take magnesium tablets on a regular basic, to have breaks of it from time to time as it can become bad for you. Would this be true?
Thanks

In reply to Gina.

Hello, Gina. I think that everything happens for the reason. I never paid attention to the magnesium. Once I got headache after conversation with one person. I know what it funny, but it happens. I excused myself and stopped in the pharmacy. I asked for something to relieve pain. The pharmacist recommended magnesium citrate which helped me immediately. It was my first encounter with magnesium. Later on, I read book written by Carolyn Dean M.D., N.D. The Magnesium Miracle. I found it interesting and helpful. I used ReMag by myself and felt big difference. The feedback from customers is outstanding. Why do we know about this mineral? Magnesium is simple but vital mineral. Magnesium does not have any side effects. I was so impressed with my experience and wanted to share information from my personal view. Maybe somebody would find here the missing link to their well-being?

All the best, Nemira.

Hello here. I am so sorry that your mother got through this condition. It seems that magnesium is vital mineral. The magnesium influences few hundreds enzymes, participates in metabolism and gives us ability to function without troubles. There is one thing that we must to get magnesium every day with food or use the magnesium as the supplement. I brag about ReMag because I use myself it and I feel a big difference.

All the best, Nemira.

In reply to Juan.

Hello, Juan. Previously I did not know about importance of minerals. I lived in Europe where the food was fresh and mostly home made. No chemicals or preservatives, except herbs, salt and pepper. The quality of food differs and I felt the need to take magnesium. The difference was enormous. I recommend to read the book The Magnesium Miracle written by Carolyn Dean, M.D, N.D. She gathered plenty of scientific facts whey people feel uncomfortable, become sick and unhappy. The magnesium is a simple solution which does not have any side effects.

Very interesting!! I just checked and my multivitamin / multimineral has Magnesium. It has around 35% of the daily recommended value. I'm going to check what are other good sources of magnesium to make sure I'm covered. I will keep an eye out for this, as it wasn't on my radar. Thank you for the information!!!
