Hello, Rob. Chlorella is an algae too but Spirulina is more valuable because it has thin wall. Chlorella has thick membrane and is not easily digested as Spirulina. Spirulina has more proteins too. You will a nutritional value from Chlorella too but Spirulina is a winner here. I prefer organic Spirulina. What is interesting that people in Africa used Spirulina as the source of food and they did well in the same way as Mayan and Aztexs.

You will get plenty energy from Spirulina too, maybe more because Spirulina is easier digested . You save your energy in this way.

All the best, Nemira

Hi again, I have been reading your article on Spirulina and found it really interesting, im actually taking fermented Chlorella tables that I purchased from my health food store. Are these tablets in your option just as good?, I was told that chlorella was better for giving you more energy. Joanne

Hello here. Spirulina is a great source of various nutrients. I like that Spirulina contains chlorophyl which differes from hemoglobin by one molecule. Spirulina is a source of proteins. It is good for people who are physically active and want to stay in the shape.I order Spirulina online too. It is convenient.

All the best, Nemira.

Hello, Gareth. I am fascinated about Spirulina especially when I found so much information. This information comes from doctors and scientists who spent many years in the labs discovering abilities of this miraculous algae.

That I like about Spirulina, that it is relatively cheap, easy to use and Spirulina does not have side effects. It is completely harmless.

I wish that you would enrich your body with vital nutrients and help to feel in the best way possible.

All the best, Nemira.

I love spirulina! My family prefers it in powder form. We use it plain, mixed with water for a simple protein shake each morning and also enjoy it mixed into smoothies with fruit, vegetables, and other protein powders. I'm shocked that my kids love it and ask for it all the time. I don't love the taste but it's totally worth it for the health benefits! It's pretty inexpensive too; and I order online so it comes right to my front door. :)

Hello here, I prefer tablets over powder. Spirulina has specific taste, but for people who like smoothies, adding it, the taste disappears. There are so many great nutraceutical gifts from Nature such as Cordyceps Sinensis or various herbs. We just need to expand our minds and get best value for our bodies with minimum of the money.

Spirulina overall is inexpensive. Benefits of Spirulina are enormous. I like that this food supplement has vitamin B komplex and plenty fatty acids. They are absorbed easily. They do not stay in the stomach as the meat few hours. With small amount of Spirulina we can get needed proteins for whole day.

Thanks for the comment, all the best, Nemira.

Very interesting article on spirulina. Being a fitness buff I was surprised to find out that it is a great source of proteins and that dried spirulina can contain up to 60% proteins. This will definitely have to be added to my supplement list and can maybe even reduce the use of protein powders.

Is there any specific form that you recommend?
