Our lives are the constant journey. Always forward, never returning back. Along by the road, we meet people who have an impact in other or another way to our lives. As I remember, my biggest heroes were from books. Starting from Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairy Tales and finishing with David R. Hawkins books.
What I can understand now, it was glumly theory a few years ago. I mean book Power Versus Force. The author explains the method of kinesiology, which enables to give answers to most questions. Fascinating, is not?
Encounter with Writers, Mentors, and Doctors
A few years ago, a teacher in college gave for us the task. We supposed to write research theme on our desired topic. I always was into healthy things, such as chocolate, fruits, various herbs, meditation. I choose the topic regarding alternative medicine. Researching for this theme, I found doctor Carolyn Dean, which was mentioned in Shirley MacLaine book Sage-ing while Age-ing. You see how everything is connected. One thing leads to another.
Shirley MacLaine is the acclaimed artist, dancer, actress, spiritual seeker. Doctor Carolyn Dean is doctor, naturopath, lector, book writer. They both have one thing in common: a wish to give people more information and insights about lives, theirs and mine too.
How It Contributes to Us?
Doctor Carolyn Dean’s book Death by Modern Medicine left me speechless and confused for all time till I finished to read it. I thought how it can be? Why is this information not in first pages of biggest newspapers? Maybe it is just me who prefers carrots over food, which is fulfilled with countless elements, difficult to pronounce. This book led to other authors such as Dr. Joseph Mercola, Dr. Mehmet Oz. These doctors show us possibilities how to be informed what is going on.
Our lifestyle, food, surroundings have an impact on us. I guess, everybody wants to be young, happy and live sophisticated life. Educating ourselves, exploring new topics as scientific research about pros and cons of medicine, giving attention and caring for ourselves and family, prompts us to better evaluate options.
It Is Never too Late to Begin
It is never too late to live a life in a different way. I mean to stop smoking or start to walk short distances, to laugh at yourself, to help the stranger or to finish unpleasant tasks. Not everybody is lucky to have right parents, right lifestyle. Overall, who can tell what is right and what is not? I guess it is just me or you or somebody else, who has the feeling inside us. If we behave in one or other way, something, maybe our consciousness reminds what it is okay or just we need to wait, not to rush making decisions.
Sometimes people put themselves in frames, which can be too narrow to them. It is a safe place to be. Family, friends surround us. However, to staying in one place and not expanding our horizons, our range of understanding could be the same as few hundred years ago. If we think towards different and new directions, it could be the fresh start in our lives. We can go up from one level to other, enriching our lives, together at the same time people’s lives who go with or follow us.
