Does A Macrobiotic Diet Work?

September 25, 2017 By Nemira 2 Comments

Does a macrobiotic diet work? Yes, it works — there are a few conditions before starting any diet. First, you need to have your plans regarding any radical changes with a knowledgeable health practitioner. Second, you must stick to the diet and not jump if everything does not work for you as fast as you would like to.

What Does It Mean to Be Healthy?

Health is a complex system that depends on many factors. These factors influence our ability to be well or be thrown off balance.

Does A Macrobiotic Diet Work?

Genetics, environment, and lifestyle can be influential and enormously impact us.

The food is the source of nutrients. We must consume rich food with vitamins, enzymes, proteins, amino acids, minerals, and so on. The body is a complex mechanism. It is not a car. It requires more like the change of fuel or pierced tire. Hundreds of enzymes participate in the body’s metabolism. Minerals are co-factors in many enzyme systems.

We can not live productive lives if we do not give the body enough nutritious food.

Why Are People Sick?

According to Katsuzo Nishi, creator of the Nishi System of Health Engineering,  people are sick because they do not live according to the laws of the Universe. I wonder if you thought about it? There is no reason to bring numbers of unhealthy and unhappy people. Only in the United States of America do people use staggering amounts of pills. What does it tell us? Something is wrong. Look around and tell me how many people laugh just without reason as children do?

I do not know the primary cause, but I am aware that our lifestyle influences the quality of life. Take an in-depth look at yourself. When were you last time happy? When you tell yourself that everything is alright and you do well. If it happened, congratulations. However, there are not many positive examples.

I wish that all people would be content with their lives forever. How to do it? Start from ourselves.

Consider what you put in your mouth, how long, and how healthy you sleep. Do you exercise? You do not need to run in the Boston marathon, but the movement is the foundation of the flexible body.

Why Macrobiotic Diet?

A macrobiotic diet provides you with energy and all vital nutrients. You do not need to stuff yourself with the food as the turkey was loaded on Thanksgiving day. Moderation is a requirement if you want to feel well.

Bad food poisons you. Processed food does not have life energy. Look at animals. Elephants and horses are potent animals because they consume fresh food.

It is known that it is enough for one generation to become obese if they consume unhealthy food.

How  Does Macrobiotic Diet Work?

A macrobiotic diet provides energy and all vital nutrients. You get all power from plants, seeds, and nuts when you eat unprocessed, raw, or slightly steamed food. Organic meatworks for us too because it does not have toxins and antibiotics.

A macrobiotic diet makes our minds sharp and bodies light. A macrobiotic diet does not tell us what meat is wrong. A macrobiotic diet points us to balance products and how to get the most of the profit from them.

Requirements of Macrobiotic Diet

Healthy food has energy inside. Preparation and balance of ingredients are vital for the quality of food.

Katsuzo Nishi recommends these rules of macrobiotic diet:

  1. Do not use processed products. Prepare food at home using organic and natural ingredients
  2. Grain and rice must take 50-60 percent of your diet
  3. Fruits and vegetables must be on your menu, making 25-30 percentDoes A Macrobiotic Diet Work?
  4. Beans, legumes, and peas can take 5-10 percent of your daily food intake
  5. Soups with grains and vegetables must take off 5 to 10 percent of the regular menu
  6. Fish, nuts, and seeds can have 5-10 percent in your daily list
  7. Meat, dairy products, eggs must be eaten just on special occasions
  8. Soda drinks, coffee, black tea must be used in consideration. Green tea, coffee from grains, herb tea, is advisable and recommended to drink
  9. When you prepare food, do not fry it. Use steam or boiling methods to preserve vital nutrients.
  10. Limit the usage of potato, tomatoes, eggplants
  11. Bake the bread from whole grain. Do not eat white food.
  12. Chew consistently. Every bite of food must be eaten at least 50 times
  13. Get up from the table when you are still hungry. You will feel fulfillment later because the stomach gives signals to the brain after the half-hour when digestion starts.

Conclusion

You see that the macrobiotic diet is not a complicated thing. There are no fancy ingredients or expensive tools to prepare food. I think that everything simple is genial and works for us.

Ingredients of a macrobiotic diet do not cost a lot. You can save money along the way by being balanced and well because you will have the energy for your projects or just for your everyday life.

Potency of Gratitude

May 31, 2015 By Nemira 2 Comments

How often do we give thanks for simple things such as fresh air, the ability to move, or having food on our plate? The potency of gratitude gives the ability to appreciate little things in life. An outstanding Oprah said that to tie shoes by yourself is a great gift. We rush from one point to another, forgetting what is most important: our lives.

Potency of Gratitude

We have a wish and ability to stop, look around, and give thanks to everybody and everything. It does not matter what it is. Just a  feeling that we have the precious gift to live here, learn and help each other as much as possible, to love all living beings, prepares us to be grateful for everything.

Benefits of Being Grateful

You would ask why we need to be grateful when our neighbor has a fancy car and an enormous mansion. Sometimes we can be unhappy when rainy days do not stop. Our vacation time is spoiled because we do not have enough money to go somewhere where is a warm climate.

The Potency of Gratitude

Being grateful means that we can be happy with everything that we have now. We do not care about our surroundings, such as comparing colleagues or neighbors. We live our lives and care about our goals and dreams. They are unique to us because they are ours. We can focus because we know in which direction we go. Our attention is not divided. It serves just for us. Gratitude for everything gives us peace of mind. It creates positive thoughts.

As you know, positivity attracts other positive things such as people or circumstances. We are relaxed when we are thankful. Our bodies and minds are in complete harmony because there is no tension between us.

Have a Right Attitude

Feeling lack or being jealous makes us tense and sensitive. I think you would like to smile more and reflect on your life and how to achieve or improve things than analyzing why my neighbor drives Ferrari. If you want it, you can make it. Work more, save more or leave for one day and see how you like it driving this car. Here is just an example.

Gratitude gives us freedom and peace of mind. We, being grateful, spread positive energy around us. At the same time, it attracts more valuable things in our lives. Why?  We create space with our positive thinking around us, where we are ready for more practical things in our lives. If something happens, shrug it off as Earl Nightingale told in Strangest Secret and move forward.

Practice to Be Grateful

It is excellent to remind ourselves of what we are grateful for every day. Maybe there are small things, but they make our lives better or more balanced. If you can have a friend or parents who support you is excellent. If not, such a place as the library can be a perfect shelter from negativity. You can find supportive librarians and books, which can be your source of knowledge forever. Parks or dog shelters can give us the ability to relax and enjoy the company of four-legged friends.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               If something happens, it is good to remind that it is temporary and will pass sooner or later. This habit, such as being grateful, will make a difference in our lives, such as peace and balance for our bodies and minds. It will improve our relationships with people. We will see more harmonious things and events in our lives. The potency of gratitude can open doors to peaceful living.

Treat Yourself in a Good Way

May 19, 2015 By Nemira 2 Comments

I guess you wonder what I mean that you treat yourself in the right way. We are told that we need to love all people that we suppose to help everybody if they ask for something or do they need us. Nothing wrong is with it. Not so good is when we forget ourselves making other people’s priorities more vital than ours.

Treat Yourself in a Good Way

Live Balanced Life

Treat Yourself in Good Way

Later or sooner, when we forget ourselves, later or sooner, it shows in our relationships, bodies, and faces. Our productivity and ability to perform things slow down. Not having proper rest for yourself, eating as fast as possible, trying to be pleasant for everybody has a toll on us. It is best when we get back what we gave to somebody. Because later or sooner, we will feel that someone is using us. It is not a pleasant feeling. Maybe it is not easy to ask for help or schedule things to make time for yourself, but it is worth it. It contributes to believing that we are in control of our lives and we can decide what is suitable for us. Of course, people who surrounded us and used to have the ability always to be rescued will be disappointed, but so what? Who cares? Treat yourself in the right way.

Can You Be  Happy too Much?

It is a lot better to be happy and content with yourself instead of trying to please everyone.  The world will spin, seasons will change each other, and Christmas will be here again and again. Unfortunately, we can not turn the clock back and change events and how we behave. Be happy now. It is never will be too much happiness around us.

Being yourself and taking good care of yourself pays you back. It will not be immediately. You will feel the energy; the mood is right. It is easy to take care of others because you are taken care of. It does not matter how you treat yourself. It can be the spa or lovely lunch, a trip to the resort,  new shoes, or spending time with your girlfriends or boys. Talking about things that are close to your heart is excellent too. There are so many groups where people with similar hobbies and activities meet each other.

Do not Penalize Yourself

It is easy to be mad at yourself if somebody was unhappy with you if they made harsh remarks about something. Try to relax, breathing in and out. Remember, if you did your best what you could do, it is not your fault. We can not be responsible for others’ actions, for other people’s happiness. At the end of our lives,  we will be accountable for things and activities that we have done. It is best to forgive yourself and forgive others. Smile at yourself, tell yourself  I love you, and let everything go. Treat yourself in the right way.
