How to Think for Yourself Now

September 6, 2016 By Nemira Leave a Comment

Thoughts are like monkeys in heads. Ideas come and go. How to think for yourself now is essential because most people usually think and act automatically. When we are scared, we run or fight. When we are hungry, we eat. When we are sad and frustrated, we fight or freeze or eat again.

We do not control ourselves when we let thoughts be scattered as people are on the ice skate rink.

How to Think for Yourself Now

I guess that many unfortunate events occur when we do not think. We react.

How to Avoid Consequences?

We tell somebody harsh words. We regret this. Unfortunately, we can not take back what was done.

We want to prove to somebody that we are right. So what? You are content for a while. Your opponent is unhappy, at least. Who wins from this situation? Nobody.

When is the dangerous situation, we must survive at any price? We must run or fight if it is possible. Otherwise, we can solve problems peacefully. How?

Removing yourself from conflict and looking at all situations as an outsider helps immensely. For example,  somebody calls you a donkey.

Okay, it is their opinion, not yours. You know who you are. If you don’t,  you must stop blaming yourself,  sit down, and think about yourself as a  friend who wants to help you.

Love Yourself at Any Time

Many people are vulnerable and sensitive, especially something that touches their looks. It means that you do not enjoy yourself. Nobody told you that you are unique in the position of science. I do not talk about God, who loves everybody and constantly.

If you look at your family, brothers and sisters are different. Little details, such as other behavior or body language, show that we are all unique. Nobody is higher or lower. We are different. It is all.

When we understand that we all have differences, and it does not describe us as people from the lower or upper class, we will calm down and will stop blaming ourselves. We will start to think about how we can be happy and show the world our uniqueness.

Expand your View

If you are not happy today, it does not mean that this situation does not improve tomorrow. Always will be a way how to change harmful or unpleasant states.

Maybe you heard that you could change your surroundings or later in life by changing your thoughts.

It is pretty simple to think about everything from the positive side. You can turn every experience into knowing what works for you and what is not functioning.

How to Think for Yourself Now?

If you read motivational books and expand your awareness, you will see that you are a more calm and content person.

You can relate to other people’s lives in books. You can learn from their mistakes. There are many stores on YouTube about the falls and ups of famous people.

If they could overcome problems and obstacles, maybe you can too?

Procrastination is the Enemy

When we let somebody rule our lives, we will not reach our dreams. You and only you know that is best for you. If you are not sure about it, look for answers from trustworthy sources, or they can lead to other places of information.

Do not wait till somebody rescues you. People will do what they think about what is best for them. Your opinion can be different.

If you do not act, you will waste precious time. Thinking and looking for the best ways for yourself will let you choose many options. You will learn how to think for yourself now and later in your life.

The Flexibility

People change, and circumstances can be different. Maybe after a few years, you will see that you want to be a painter instead of a mechanic or dentist.

Being flexible lets, you choose the best way to a state where you are your boss. You are in control of your actions, thoughts, and events. You will see that it is pretty easy to learn how to think for yourself now and later.

Potency of Gratitude

May 31, 2015 By Nemira 2 Comments

How often do we give thanks for simple things such as fresh air, the ability to move, or having food on our plate? The potency of gratitude gives the ability to appreciate little things in life. An outstanding Oprah said that to tie shoes by yourself is a great gift. We rush from one point to another, forgetting what is most important: our lives.

Potency of Gratitude

We have a wish and ability to stop, look around, and give thanks to everybody and everything. It does not matter what it is. Just a  feeling that we have the precious gift to live here, learn and help each other as much as possible, to love all living beings, prepares us to be grateful for everything.

Benefits of Being Grateful

You would ask why we need to be grateful when our neighbor has a fancy car and an enormous mansion. Sometimes we can be unhappy when rainy days do not stop. Our vacation time is spoiled because we do not have enough money to go somewhere where is a warm climate.

The Potency of Gratitude

Being grateful means that we can be happy with everything that we have now. We do not care about our surroundings, such as comparing colleagues or neighbors. We live our lives and care about our goals and dreams. They are unique to us because they are ours. We can focus because we know in which direction we go. Our attention is not divided. It serves just for us. Gratitude for everything gives us peace of mind. It creates positive thoughts.

As you know, positivity attracts other positive things such as people or circumstances. We are relaxed when we are thankful. Our bodies and minds are in complete harmony because there is no tension between us.

Have a Right Attitude

Feeling lack or being jealous makes us tense and sensitive. I think you would like to smile more and reflect on your life and how to achieve or improve things than analyzing why my neighbor drives Ferrari. If you want it, you can make it. Work more, save more or leave for one day and see how you like it driving this car. Here is just an example.

Gratitude gives us freedom and peace of mind. We, being grateful, spread positive energy around us. At the same time, it attracts more valuable things in our lives. Why?  We create space with our positive thinking around us, where we are ready for more practical things in our lives. If something happens, shrug it off as Earl Nightingale told in Strangest Secret and move forward.

Practice to Be Grateful

It is excellent to remind ourselves of what we are grateful for every day. Maybe there are small things, but they make our lives better or more balanced. If you can have a friend or parents who support you is excellent. If not, such a place as the library can be a perfect shelter from negativity. You can find supportive librarians and books, which can be your source of knowledge forever. Parks or dog shelters can give us the ability to relax and enjoy the company of four-legged friends.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               If something happens, it is good to remind that it is temporary and will pass sooner or later. This habit, such as being grateful, will make a difference in our lives, such as peace and balance for our bodies and minds. It will improve our relationships with people. We will see more harmonious things and events in our lives. The potency of gratitude can open doors to peaceful living.
