What Type of Magnesium Is Best for Mental Health?

March 8, 2023 By Nemira Leave a Comment

What type of magnesium is best for mental health?

Good mental health is essential nowadays despite plenty of efforts to make things different from what they are supposed to be. You know plenty of stories where you do not know how to react: laugh, be sad, or just shudder and move on.

We need to maintain proper health because of the necessity to make decisions based on a clear mind, not on a foggy one.

Do all magnesium supplements add the same benefits to the brain?

It is yes and no.

Yes, all magnesium from supplements benefits at the neuron level from that point. It means that some magnesium reaches the brain.

The answer regarding benefits to the brain from another side will be no if you consider the laxative effects.

Which magnesium would be best for mental health?

Magnesium that goes straight into the cell absorbs at the 100 percent range, is pure, consists of pico-ionic ions, and, most importantly, does not have any laxative effects; it is the best option for mental health. The name of the supplement is ReMag.

Imagine that you have some headache or migraine, or depression. Your head hurts, and you want to relieve uncomfortable feelings at any price. You take a magnesium supplement and wait till the headache is gone.

Differently from your expectations, you must run to the bathroom if you do not want to have any unpleasant accidents.

Laxative effects from magnesium salts

Why do magnesium supplements differ from each other?

All magnesium salts provide laxative effects on people.

Magnesium L-threonate gives diarrhea to users of it too.

Why do these salts create all this mess? I understand that, in some cases, magnesium is a great option to loosen stools. However, if you do not ready for that but need magnesium for one of the 65 conditions when magnesium is deficient, running into the bathroom is not fun.

Why do people get diarrhea from magnesium supplements?

Magnesium supplements are salts that consist of metal, in this case, will be magnesium and acid. For example, magnesium citrate consists of magnesium and citric acid.

The absorption is low, from 4 percent to twenty. It means that magnesium does not absorb at the cellular level. The remaining mineral travels down the intestines and creates contractions in the bowels.

Besides diarrhea, which is not a pleasant experience, people lose other minerals and nutrients that do not have time to go into the bloodstream and travel to the tissues and organs as they should.

Can I get magnesium benefits for the brain and the body without laxative effects?

Yes, you can. Magnesium supplements, which contain only magnesium ions that are so tiny that they can enter cells immediately and do not give side effects, are the best option for mental health.

Angstrom minerals and ReMag magnesium supplement consist of small magnesium ions, pico-ionic size. These magnesium supplements benefit mental health.

The difference between magnesium salts such as magnesium citrate or oxide and ReMag is that these supplements differ in bioavailability.

Magnesium salts contain magnesium ions that stick together, creating significant clusters. These molecules cannot go through the cell membrane. It is the reason why the laxative effect occurs.

ReMag ions are separated and do not stick together. It was done using a proprietary technique. It lets magnesium ions enter cells and help the body in metabolic processes.

Wrapping up

Brain benefits best from magnesium supplements that can enter cells completely without laxative effects.

All magnesium supplements produce beneficial results at the neuron level, according to Dr.Carolyn Dean, the creator of ReMag. However, if you want to avoid side effects such as running to the bathroom when you need to get rid of a migraine, it is an intelligent way to get magnesium that does not bother you with this after-effect.

It is excellent that we have choices and do not need to stick with one option in the magnesium supplements area.

Knowing which magnesium supplement does not have side effects lets us have peace of mind and not worry about consequences after taking magnesium.

ReMag fulfills all expectations by working as a therapeutic, pure, and concentrated magnesium supplement that absorbs at 100% range and goes straight into cells without any laxative effects.

Ways to Be Mentally Healthy

May 2, 2018 By Nemira Leave a Comment

Ways to be mentally healthy and sound are insanely simple. Mental health is a hidden topic because we see the consequences of neglect. Shootings and attacks on innocent people happen around the whole world. Do you think that sane people could harm others? Scientists say that evil people who hurt others have badly developed front lobes. They do not have emotions and empathy for living beings.

All ages had their crazy people. However, nowadays, we see more of them thanks to the fast-spreading news. Reasons for suffering from mental health problems can be various.

  • Social boundaries are when people are lonely and do not know how to contact others without harming them.
  • Abuse from childhood and the lack of positivity in their lives.
  • Overuse of drugs
  • Family history
  • Harmful habits such as smoking, excessive drinking, or consumption of processed food and soda drinks.
  •  Poor nutrition

Social connections, understanding who you are, wholesome nutrition, exercises, and education may help to stay mentally balanced, sharp, and able to help others.

Social interactions play a vital role. When people are poor but feel safe and loved, surrounded by family, friends, or community, they can face many challenges. Some of them benefit from it. You would like to ask how?

Difficulties in life prepare for more significant tasks and challenges. It is nothing new. It can be different, but you know that you dealt with one problem successfully, and the second one will be conquered too.

Of course, difficulties can be different. I do not talk about wars when people cannot escape and make their own decisions.

Nutrition’s influence on mental health

Leaving aside social aspects and so-called problems from childhood, let’s check how inadequate food affects mental health.

The newsletter from the leading supplements company for mental health gives information about the importance of vitamins, microelements, and enzymes.

Irish scientists found out that the lack of vitamin B can disrupt mental health, especially for older people. Individuals do not get enough vitamins from food. Processed and refined food lacks all vitamins, not just the B complex. Food affected by temperature loses all enzymes.

Enzymes are proteins that participate in the body’s metabolism. Vitamins take part in organism functions too. B vitamins which are vitally important to brain health, are

  •  B2
  •  B6
  •   B9
  •  B12

Irish scientists gathered the data from 5 thousand adults. They found out that food does not have enough vitamins to keep vitamin biomarkers high. Low vitamin B biomarkers showed increased depression by 78 percent.

Young people need nutrition too

You heard about mental problems in young adults. Most of them are students who leave scars on others’ lives. Shootings, bullying, the creation of tension, and disruption of balance in classes do not benefit a healthy emotional environment. Who wants to go to school when they know that difficulties and troubles wait ahead?

The conversation and blogging about the harm of sugar,  processed food, and drugs are annoying, and it does not create any excitement.  When somebody tells you that this and this thing is terrible, you want to do everything oppositely, don’t you? On another side, how can it be hard for these people in the constant cycle of rage, disappointment, and misery?

All young adults who committed crimes were from different levels of human society. Unfortunately, mental health must be questionable because if you are in good shape, how can you harm others? Of course, there are cases in some countries that happen unbelievable things. However, in powerful countries such as the U.S.A., the quality of nutritional education is questionable.

You can check comments under TED talks, where people express their opinions about nutrition.  Plenty of them thinks that doctors and scientists talk nonsense. It shows how people are addicted to junk food which makes them happy for a while but, in the long run, creates problems such as mental and physical disorders.

Okay, where are ways to be mentally healthy?

Exercises. It does not matter how boring it sounds; practices change the quality of mental health. Individuals who exercise are stronger physically. The body is healthier because muscles, tissues, and organs receive more oxygen and nutrients from the blood. When we move, blood vessels cater to nutrients faster and further to all places in the body.

Nutrition. Vitamins, enzymes, minerals, proteins, and fats keep bodies in good shape. We do not get enough nutrients from food. It does not matter if you consume organic food or eat plenty of vegetables; you lack some vital nutrients. For example, you can get plenty of vitamin D, but you can contact many problems if you require magnesium. Why? Because magnesium interacts with vitamin D. Without sufficient magnesium, vitamins A and K, you will not get balanced vitamin D.

Remember, in the body, everything is connected. When you miss one tiny detail, all functions can suffer. It happens not at once but slowly degrading and disempowering bodily functions.

Social Connections.  Loneliness can drive you crazy, especially if you do not have a confidant or you do not read books. How it can be strange, especially at these times when your self-esteem is measured by the number of likes or admiration from peers, books can be real saviors. Fiction is a light and entertaining feast. However, the insights and experiences of exciting people can overturn your world upside down and opposite. Maybe you, at this time, are so low that you do not want anything.

A consultation with an excellent and knowledgeable health practitioner could help. On another side, maybe it is the case, as happened to Anthony Stephan, who created the company called True Hope. You can read about his products here.

It is fascinating that TrueHope products helped many people from the whole world. You read testimonials and research papers from doctors and scientists about the impact and importance of nutrients on mental health.

Can you imagine that people like Natalie can forget schizophrenia using TrueHope products? Her mother, Theresa, made everything so that her daughter would be healthy. They came to a long path of recovery, and now they both can enjoy the benefits of life. There are words of grateful mother Theresa from TrueHope Winter 2018 volume 10, issue 1:

My daughter did not have a mental illness. My daughter had a nutritional deficiency, nothing more. It concluded what I learned with my cancer diagnosis: that these foods we eat today are not enough to give the brain the essential nutrition it needs daily. When we started replenishing her body with the deficiencies it cried for; her health was restored.

Can you imagine the joy of being healthy again and leading a complete life? Ways to be mentally healthy are simple. When you do not have an emergency case such as tumors or trauma, you will benefit from changing your lifestyle and giving the body what it needs: proper nutrition, exercise, and vibrant social life.

Do you have experience with mental problems? It would be nice to hear from you. Please, leave a comment below.

How To Increase Brain Activity

April 6, 2018 By Nemira Leave a Comment

How to increase brain activity because the brain is a command center, where decisions are made. Cognitive performance is essential for every stage of life. If we want to increase memory, sharpen focus, and improve learning abilities, we must apply a few techniques.

Exercise

How to increase brain activity

If we want to keep our minds in good shape, we must exercise. According to Ken Weingardt, a Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine professor, exercise is the only evidence-based activity. Exercise helps to improve cognitive abilities.  Some triggers contribute to developing dementia. Heart disease, high blood pressure,  and stroke may occur if people do not engage in physical activities.

The National Institute on Aging made a recent study about exercising. This study shows that actions prompt muscles to release a protein. This protein stimulates the growth of new cells in the hippocampus. The hippocampus plays a significant role in the consolidation of information. This part of the brain controls memory.

Exercise can be different by nature. We are all different and can choose what is best for us. For example, I do not like lift lifting heavy weights. Yoga and walking in the park or ocean give me energy and balance for the body and mind.

Types of exercise

Somebody else will be able to learn or discover new things after heavy exercising at the gym. What works for one can be dull and confusing for another person.

Martial arts are great for the brain because it relaxes and teaches how to concentrate without tension. Overall Eastern practices for the mind, such as Tai-chi or Taekwondo, calm the mind and help beneficially increase brain activity. You learn how to focus and control your emotions. Your brain is active but, at the same time, balanced.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a state of mind when we are aware of our thoughts and feelings. People are conscious and do not react to triggers because they understand what will happen. The increased focus, awareness, and nonjudgmental attitude help to stay in a healthy mental state.

How to increase brain activity

Meditation helps sharpen focus, relax, and expand awareness. People who meditate are disciplined, calm, and thoughtful.

“We have seen higher levels of mindfulness predicting greater job satisfaction, lower levels of fatigue and emotional exhaustion,” said Mahima Saxena, an assistant professor of psychology at Illinois Tech.

When people use the meditation technique, they become calm, concentrated, and aware of their thoughts and feelings.

According to Ken Weingardt, MRI brain scans show the shrinking of the amygdala when people use meditation.  The amygdala is the center of fear in the brain. The prefrontal cortex, responsible for concentration, decision-making,  and attention, grows using meditation practice.

It is not easy to meditate. Meditation requires constant practice. It involves watching thoughts and letting them go. One of my friends told me that he does not want to skip meditation. He saw many things happen to him, leading to success and happiness. When we calm our minds, we can see the world in a different light, as a neutral place.

Our brain works more efficiently because we can differentiate essential things from unnecessary details. Meditation is a standard tool to achieve excellence in thinking and decision-making. Nowadays, people who produce terrific results in the business world are thankful for this life-changing but straightforward method.

Do you meditate? I would be glad to hear your thoughts regarding this subject.

Avoiding multitasking

People think that multitasking increases productivity. However, the number of accomplished tasks can be more significant, but the quality suffers. We can feel tired after doing a few things at once, especially if we need to concentrate on details.

Mechanical tasks are performed smoothly, but tasks requiring attention can suffer for tasks that need to be completed smoothly. Your brain will work better if you choose only one duty at a time, and later on, you will move to the next.

When we try to perform many tasks simultaneously, we scatter energy and attention. You can not be at the same time in a few places. It means that the mission is accomplished, but the results can be weak and short-lived.

The right nutrition

Nutrients are essential for the body’s metabolism. Without minerals, fat, proteins, enzymes, and vitamins, we suffer and experience various consequences. The brain is not an exception. It can suffer from a lack of minerals, vitamins, and enzymes.

The True Hope company is the leader in formulas that change thousands of lives. Here is a powerful video about discoveries and victories.

It excites me that these products can help everybody who lacks nutrients from food and other supplements.

You can be a student or a hard-working professional who has an intense schedule and needs to continuously focus on details that will benefit from these supplements. Everybody who wants to keep the brain active and in shape will feel the enormous difference in well-being. You can read more about these formulas here.

The sleep importance

How to increase brain activity

You would think that sleep is a waste of time. Unfortunately, sleep is vitally essential for the whole body. During sleep time, the body rejuvenates itself. Without sufficient rest, we will be exhausted and tired. The brain, during sleep time, works in a different regime. Different waves are registered when people sleep.

Conclusion

To increase brain activity and keep it in good shape, we can follow some simple techniques. We will have a correctly functioning organ by giving the brain what it needs.

  • Exercise helps the hippocampus consolidate information.
  • The right proper nutrition for the brain will support and help it function efficiently.
  • Sleep will help rejuvenate, strengthen, and replenish the brain, preparing it to be active and valid for the next day.
  • Meditation helps find balance and calmness. The usage of reflection helps shrink the amygdala, the center of fear in the brain. It leads to better concentration and critical decision-making.

We will increase brain activity using these simple methods. Taking good care of the brain will benefit the whole body. The command center will serve us as long we are attentive and supportive as owners of the precious entities.

Who can benefit from EMPowerplus’s Advanced formula?

The Best Multivitamin for Mental Health

The EMPowerplus Advanced formula could help individuals who have problems such as:

  •  Anxiety
  • ADHD
  • Bipolar
  • Autism
  • Depression
  • Fatigue
  • Stress

For somebody who is always stressed and cannot be on vacation all time, the EMPowerplus Advanced formula could help to stay sane and accomplish tasks in the best possible way.

My experience

This formula works for me. Thankfully, I do not have the conditions mentioned above, except stress, which is a constant companion in many people’s lives.

Stress is useful when we need to run from dinosaurs or when somebody wants to take advantage of a purse or car. Adrenalin prepares us to run, and we can escape.

Unfortunately, where could I run if I needed to read a hundred articles, a few books, and take care of five websites? I try my best to eat simple food, get some rest, and adapt mindfulness practice into my routine. I decided to try EMPoverplus Advanced.

I know that minerals and vitamins play a vital role in our bodies. The brain is a command station that must be taken with care.  EMPoverplus Advanced formula supports the brain. Nutritional deficiency creates disorders. When our body gets all vital nutrients, we feel complete and balanced. It is the same with mental health.

After taking EMPoverplus Advanced, I felt energized and balanced. I use ReMag too at the same time. These two supplements go along perfectly. I can concentrate quickly and perform more tasks without long breaks.

Importance of EMPowerplus Advanced compounds

Vitamin A

Vitamin A promotes the healing and growth of cells. Vitamin A prevents many illnesses and diseases. Taking vitamin A mental health improves.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)

Vitamin B1  participates in the production of acetylcholine, which is the neurotransmitter. Acetylcholine plays a role in the synaptic junctions of neurons.

Thiamine helps alcohol-dependent people with improving memory. Individuals who lack thiamine are prone to consume junk food and be anxious.

Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)

Vitamin B2 is the precursor for coenzymes, which are part of body energy production. Vitamin B2 helps with cell respiration and oxygenation.

Individuals deficient in riboflavin are prone to be dizzy and tired. Retarded growth in children and nerve damage can occur when vitamin 2 is insufficient in the body.

People become forgetful, unable to concentrate, and can be mildly confused.

Some researchers state that the lack of vitamin B2 can be associated with fibromyalgia.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin)

Niacin is the precursor to the coenzymes which participate in brain metabolism and function.

Niacin plays a role in the production of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and other corticosteroids. It is nice that niacin prevents breakage of DNA strands.

The lack of vitamin B3 can cause emotional lability and irritability. Individuals with ADHD feel improvements when niacin is sufficient.

Vitamin b5 (Pantothenic acid)

The Best Multivitamin for Mental Health

Vitamin B5 plays a vital role in fatty acid synthesis and degradation. Pantothenic acid is crucial to synthesizing Coenzyme A (CO-A). This coenzyme A supports adrenal function. Adrenal glands produce cortisone and norepinephrine. It is known as a vitamin against stress and helps to combat fatigue.

The study shows that people who did not have pantothenic acid in their diet become irritated, hot-tempered, and upset. Male volunteers got low blood pressure, dizziness, muscle weakness, sleepiness, constipation, extreme fatigue, and upper respiratory problems.

Vitamin B6(Pyridoxine)

Vitamin B6 plays an essential role in amino acid metabolism in the central nervous system. Pyridoxine’s active form is the coenzyme Pyridoxal-5phosphate. It participates in some 100 enzyme actions in amino acids, glucose, and lipid metabolism.

The coenzyme is responsible for the production of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). GABA participates in the turning of tryptophan ( amino acid) to niacin. If a coenzyme is missed, the failure happens because of serotonin produced in excess.

Pyridoxine participates in the synthesis of dopamine and norepinephrine. These neurotransmitters control human mood and emotion.

When humans do not get enough vitamin B6, they become irritable, anxious, and depressed.

The double-blind, autistic study showed improvement for children who got magnesium and vitamin B6.

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin)

Vitamin B12 contains the mineral cobalt. This vitamin is essential for the maintenance of the central nervous system.

Deficiency of Cyanocobalamin triggers feeding difficulties, hypotonia,  seizure, microcephaly, and developmental delay.

Confusion, depression, mental laziness, and lack of memory relate to vitamin B12 deficiency.

Vitamin C

Cellular health depends on vitamin C. Americans lack vitamin C. Only 35 percent of the population in the USA uses vitamin C.

Vitamin C deficiency can trigger mental disorders. Nervousness related to lack of vitamin C.

Vitamin D(Cholecalciferol)

Vitamin D participates in the uptake and absorption of phosphorus and calcium. These two minerals are vital to proper CNS function.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

Vitamin E is anti-oxidant. Vitamin E protects DNA, cell membranes, and enzymes from free radical damage. Patients with tardive dyskinesia got positive results using vitamin E.

Vitamin B9 (Folic acid)

Vitamin B9 acts as the coenzyme THFA( tetrahydrofolic acid). The breakdown and usage of proteins depend on folic acid. Folic acid prevents chromosome breakage and hypomethylation of DNA.

The deficiency of vitamin B9 triggers cognitive impairment and chronic fatigue.

Folic acid helps with Parkinson’s and Bipolar disorders.

Vitamin H (Biotin)

Biotin participates in metabolizing fats, the synthesis of fatty acids, RNA, and DNA.

Biotin may help improve blood glucose control in people with diabetes. Vitamin H enhances insulin sensitivity and increases the activity of enzymes participating in glucose metabolism.

Diabetic neuropathy may be treated with biotin in high doses.

Phosphorus

Phosphorus is a part of the ATP( adenosine triphosphate). ATP is a carrier of energy in the body. Phosphorus has a relationship with calcium because they are tied together in the bone structure.

Calcium and phosphorus play together, helping each other in body functions. Phosphate helps absorb dietary constituents, maintains the blood at an alkaline level, and regulates enzyme activity.

The Best Multivitamin for Mental Health

Phosphorus participates in the transmission of nerve impulses.

Magnesium

Magnesium participates in 700-800 enzyme reactions. These reactions involve:

  • ATP requires magnesium
  • Manufacturing DNA
  • Protein synthesis
  • Fatty acid synthesis
  • Nerve impulse transmission
  • Maintenance of the membrane’s electric potential
  • Transportation of potassium, sodium, and calcium across membranes

You can read about the role of magnesium here.

Copper

Copper is found in the brain and liver.

Copper is vital to the formation of many genes.

The SOD1 gene(Superoxide  Dismutase) protects human cells from oxidation and free radical damage. SOD  based on Copper-Zinc composition.

Copper participates in the synthesis of cell membrane phospholipids and helps maintain the insulation called myelin. Myelin surrounds nerve cells.

Copper aids in regulating neurotransmitter levels.

Cooper deficiency can affect the nervous system. Poor concentration, numbness, and tingling can occur.

Iodine

A significant concentration of iodine resides in the thyroid gland. The rest of iodine is in thyroid hormones in the ovaries, blood, and muscles.

Iodine is part of thyroid gland hormones. These hormones, triiodothyronine and thyroxine, affect the metabolic rate in the body.

Thyroid hormones are involved in body development, brain growth, nerves, bones, and skin.

The thyroid participates in protein synthesis, conversion of carotene to vitamin A, and carbohydrate absorption.

Hormone thyroxine regulates body weight.

When iodine levels are low, the human endocrine system suffers. Symptoms such as apathy, drowsiness, fatigue, sensitivity to the cold, muscle weakness, an increase in weight, coarse skin, and lethargy occur.

Potassium

Potassium functions:

  • Protein synthesis
  • Blood sugar conversion to glycogen
  • Stimulation of  intestinal tract movement
  • Activation of enzymes

A deficiency of potassium shows muscle spasms, heart arrhythmia, muscle weakness, and tetany.

Molybdenum

Molybdenum is a trace mineral. Molybdenum is found in the enzymes such as xanthine oxidase, sulfite oxidase, and aldehyde oxidase. These enzymes participate in the production of uric acid, a waste product of protein metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, iron utilization, and sulfite detoxification.

Zinc

Zinc participates in over 600 enzyme actions in the body.

Zinc is essential to our bodies because

  • Human genes stabilization and synthesis depend on zinc
  • Cell division
  • Synthesis and degradation of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins require zinc
  • Growth and repair of tissue depend on zinc
  • Thyroid hormones need zinc for the proper function

These organs and systems require zinc for successful functioning:

  • Calcium uptake in the bones
  • Modulation of growth hormones effects
  • Production of brain neurotransmitters
  •  The release of vitamin A from the liver
  • Production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach
  • Conversion of fatty acids to prostaglandins
  • Muscle contraction
  • Acid-alkali balance maintenance
The Best Multivitamin for Mental Health

The zinc deficiency shows in these ways:

  •  Eczema on the face and hands
  • Hair loss
  • Mental apathy
  • Defects in the productive organs
  •  Delayed sexual maturation
  •  Menstrual irregularities
  •  Low growth rate
  •  Impaired mental development
  •  Postnatal depression
  •  The loss of smell and taste
  •  Anemia
  •  Poor appetite
  •  Impaired conduction and nerve damage
  •  White spots on the nails
  •  Psychiatric disorders
  •  Easiness to catch infections
  •  Long wound healing
  •  Impotence in men
  •  Eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa

As you see there, there is no fun when our body lacks some of the micronutrients. Did you think that is going on when we require it, and we do not have many of them in our bodies?

Chromium

Chromium is an essential trace element.

Chromium is vital for blood sugar metabolism. ( I saw supplements with chromium stating that cravings for sugar will disappear.)

Chromium partners with insulin, moving glucose into cells where the energy is generated.

The deficiency of chromium leads to

  •  High blood fat and cholesterol levels

Diabetes-like symptoms of glucose intolerance, such as

  • Confusion
  • Weakness
  •  Weight loss
  •  Thirst
  •  Hunger
  •  Frequent urination

Iron

Iron participates in the transportation of oxygen in the blood. The hemoglobin molecule contains iron in red blood cells.

The importance of iron

  • Enzymes require iron for correctly performing metabolic functions
  • Thyroid hormones use iron for the production
  • DNA synthesis, cell growth, and cell division asks for iron
  • Protein metabolism uses iron
  • The energy production in cells requires iron

Iron deficiency shows up as

  •  Conduct problems in adults and children
  •  Anemia
  •  Fatigue
  •  Breathlessness
  •  Lack of concentration
  •  Eye inflammation
  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Mouth ulcers and hair loss
  • Itching, especially for elders
  • Giddiness
  • Restless sleep
  • Huge menstrual pain and bleeding

Manganese

Manganese is vital for proper CNS function. Enzyme systems require magnesium such as in energy production, glucose metabolism, the stimulation of glycogen storage in the liver, protein digestion, cholesterol, and fatty acids synthesis.

Manganese participates in the growth and development of the CNS. Functions such as blood clotting, female sex hormone, and thyroid hormone ask for manganese, too.

Superoxide dismutase, the antioxidant enzyme, contains manganese. Studies show that it can protect brain cells from damage after stroke and Alzheimer’s disease.

Manganese may protect against liver damage. Manganese supplements help treat schizophrenia, mania, and other psychoses.

Selenium

Selenium is a trace mineral. Selenium is involved in

  • Thyroid hormones
  •  CNS mood control
  •  Liver function maintenance
  •  Protection from heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury
  •  Reduction of anxiety

Nickel

Nickel is found in body tissues.

Nickel deficiency is shown as

  • Decreased growth
  • Dermatitis
  •  Liver damage
  • Cell mutation
  •  Reproductive abnormalities
  •  Kidney problems

Vanadium

Vanadium is stored in bone and fat cells.

Vanadium may act as the cofactor for enzymes. These enzymes involved in

  •  Blood sugar metabolism
  •  Lipid and cholesterol metabolism
  •  Fertility
  •  Thyroid function
  •  Hormone production
  •  Neurotransmitter metabolism

Boron

Boron is found all over the whole body. The most significant concentration is in the bone.

Boron is important for

  • The way how signals transmitted across cell membranes
  • Nerve signal transmission
  • Vitamin D conversion to the active form
  • Mental alertness

Germanium

GE-132 is Sesquioxide. It is an organic form of germanium. Interestingly, it is an active ingredient in garlic, aloe vera, and comfrey. ( I used Comfrey and got terrific results.)

Germanium increases the body’s defense mechanisms. Germanium works as

  •  Body detoxifier
  •  Adaptogen
  • Oxygen catalyst
  •  Electric impulse stimulator

Germanium may be the stimulator for gamma-interferon production. Patients with CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) felt substantial symptom relief.

Methionine

Methionine is a sulfur amino acid. It performs as a lipotropic factor, preventing fat buildup in the liver and the body. Great stuff, isn’t it?

Phenylalanine

Phenylalanine is the precursor for the amino acid tyrosine. The neurotransmitters norepinephrine and dopamine are precursors of the amino acid tyrosine. The activity of neurotransmitters without tyrosine would be sluggish.

Bioflavonoids

Flavonoids were discovered by Albert Szent-Gyorgi, the Nobel Prize winner. He named them Vitamin P. He found that bioflavonoids enhance the function of vitamin C. It helps protect cells from oxidation.

Grape seed extract

Grape seed extract provides prevention and improvement of circulation and reduction of edema.

Inositol

Inositol is vitamin B. It has connections with choline. Inositol, combined with choline, provides a source of brain cell nutrition.

Benefits of Inositol

  • Treatment for agoraphobia and panic attacks
  • Participate in the insulation of nerve fibers
  • Useful in panic disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder

Ginko Biloba

Gingko Biloba is a herb. It is sufficient for Dementia and, ADHD, ear problems.

Glutamine

Glutamine, combined with vitamin B6, creates gamma-aminobutyric acid. It is an important neurotransmitter.

Choline

Choline is an essential nutrient in humans.

Choline importance is

  • Assistance in the transmission of signals inside cells
  • Choline is part of myeline, a protective shield around the nerves
  • Precursors to the release and synthesis of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter.
  • Provides help for individuals with bipolar disorder and Alzheimer’s
  • ADHD patients benefit from choline usage

Who can benefit from the EMPowerplus Advanced formula? Everybody can use this formula. Individuals with disorders such as bipolar affective disorder, chronic depression, and schizophrenia need more nutrients compared with healthy people.  Stress drains minerals, too.

The EMPowerplus Advanced formula provides nutrition for the brain and stabilizes, replenishes, and balances it. It is a precious food and the best multivitamin and nutrition for mental health.

Here you can listen to the interview with co-founder Anthony Stephan:

The Best Multivitamin for Mental Health

What do you think about it? Do you have relatives or friends who could benefit from this miraculous supplement? I would be glad to hear your opinion. Please leave a comment below.

Update: I buy plenty of my supplements through the biggest retailer online(Amazon). I wanted to purchase this product too. I checked and found EMPowerplus Q96. It is the same EMPowerplus formula, just manufactured by another company. This company, Q Sciences, got the recipe from True Hope and now has the right to produce it.

You can see here below the explanation from customer service when I asked about the differences between EmpoverPlus Advanced and Q96:
