Fun must be mandatory for everybody, not just for children. Fun activities and adults are compatible. However, most of the grown-ups have the stiff upper lip or forget how to be happy at all.
How often do you hear people laughing, just naturally and in a relaxed manner? I do not count fake laugh then pointless comedy goes on, and you hear in the background chuckles and loud noises.
I wonder if people who watch TV do not know when the funny situation starts? Maybe somebody else thinks that crowd needs to be pointed in the right direction like cute sheep.
Why Adults Laugh Less Compared with Children?
You would tell that children do not have any problems with the mortgage, crazy boss or the lack of time. Children have fewer duties and more fun. It is true. However, adults have more experience and could plan life more carefully.
What do I mean? Adults can set priorities what is essential for them to happiness or endless spinning in the wheel of presumptions, expectations, wants, and needs. Of course, it is not easy to escape from routine, change behavior, and lifestyle. Friends, colleagues at work, school influences us. We follow others who most of them do not know how to be happy or at least to have fun.
What Is The Fun?
Fun is the lighthearted pleasure, enjoyment, and amusement. Think about it. When you last time had fun? I guess that you read that we live once and we need to spend time in a best efficient way as possible. On the end of life will be for sure no fun when we think what we experienced, how we lived and spent time.
My understanding of fun is when I can laugh till my ribs start hurting. Of course, it is an exaggeration, but the joy without the laugh is not complete. At least smile would be pleasant to spread around when you do something for your enjoyment.
Besides having a great time, fun activities give you boost and energy. The laugh relaxes you. I read that at the time of laugh vitamin C production increases many times. I need to check it out.

Do you think that bikes are just for children or for teenagers who do tricks and run fast? Everybody can ride one. It is not a big deal. However, you will have fun, improve your health, and will change your environment.
It depends where do you live. The crowded city with plenty of cars is not the best option. You can rent the bicycle or bring the bike to the park or somewhere where is safe to ride.
You will see how your balance improved, your muscles became stronger, and your mood different from the sitting on the couch by the TV.
Think about TV series or programmes what you watched before. Of course, there are good shows but most of them you do not remember the next day. You spend time without meaning.

- You will clear mind because you need to watch where do you ride. You can leave worries back at home.
- You will exercise. More oxygen to your lungs, more blood to your organs will reach when you push pedals. Different muscle groups work. Your body will tell you thanks and will answer with the better health.

You do not need to buy the expensive bicycle. There are plenty of second-hand shops, or you can rent at first and see how to do you like this activity.
Trampolines are the fun way to exercise. You jump, and you have fun at the same time. Nothing can be dangerous having this activity. Sooner or later you will feel the excitement and will enjoy the process of jumping.
You can listen to the music or sing along with radio. Children are crazy about trampolines. Adults seem like clumsy bears. However, having the proper equipment, you can relax and have fun just jumping.
You can think how you are solid man or woman can jump on the trampoline? Why not? You will see how you will relax and start smile or chuckle. You will return to the careless time for at least few minutes. Enjoy it!
Besides it, you can improve your health. It is better to jump compared with the running. Your joints do not get so much pressure when reaching the ground. You bounce and have a contact for few seconds.
When you run, your feet and joints get the full impact to the ground and are pressed with the whole your weight. When jump, everything is light: the touch with the base of trampoline and bounce does not require effort. It is a fun activity.
Table games are the fun way to spend time with family or friends. It can work as the ice-breaker. It is a lovely transformation to the different environment where you leave dishes, bills or simple worries away.
For example, trivia games prompt you to think and find the right answer. You do not need to be smart, but you can check how much you know.

British TV is different and brings the enjoyment of discoveries. Movies and shows have meaning or just let you laugh at real-life situations depicted in these movies and plays.
How about being a Tarzan for half hour? It is the different experience when you are safe and can sense the freedom flying on the zip line from one corner to another.
You need to pay for this fun activity, but you will have experience how it feels to be free for awhile. Instructors will help you with preparation and securing belts and harnesses.
Zip lines are generally safe. Think how it is great to fly over the rainforest canopy.
A picnic is a great way to be outdoors, enjoy food, and conversation with friends or family. It is fun because you outside tasting different food and sitting on the grass or the blanket.
Think how it can be nice to lay down and watch blue sky and flying clouds. When you eat in nature, the food is tasty. You do not need fancy meals. The cold meat with tomatoes and bread or smoked salmon with grapes could be the most appetizing meal. You can have pizza if you do not have time to cook the meat. Sandwiches work well; you need to improvise the little bit.
Picnics are best in the summertime or at any time when you can be comfortable outside. Changing the environment and having the meal in the park, by the river or at any convenient and pleasant location can bring lovely emotions and joy.
Who told that you could walk barefoot just on the beach? Any clean place where is grass or sand is beneficial for feet. Our feet have plenty of vital points which have connections with organs. You know about acupuncture, do you? It is the same you get it from nature for free.
Some people like walk barefoot on snow. It is not for me, and I do not see here any fun. On the summer time, when I can take my shoes off and stay on the grass is a pleasure and delight. Why? It is a different experience, and the body gets the sweet sensation when leaves and stems tickle the surface of feet.
Do you remember when you watched last times stars? Most of us are immersed in duties and constant routine of various tasks that we do not feel our surroundings. Most of us lost touch with nature.
The noise surrounding us, artificial light, pollution can throw us off balance.
Star watching can be an excellent connection with something more significant as humans. You can feel the touch of universe and nature.
The countryside is the best place for watching stars. Maybe you will have a trip to your relatives who live outside the city, or you can drive with friends or family to the national park and spend couple nights at least and explore surroundings.
How about watching the movie outdoors? You will watch the film at night and later on, you can enjoy stars.
Books can be fun too. You can read the book and be immersed in the different world. You can laugh, travel, and enjoy adventures of main characters. For example, the book Three Men In A Boat ( To Say Nothing Of the Dog) written by English writer Jerome K. Jerome, is a perfect example of the written fun. You can laugh endlessly till your belly will hurt.
Books let us forget outer world and have fun without thinking about consequences.
Hide and Seek
Do you think this activity is just for children? Why adults can not hide somewhere and wait till somebody finds them. The biggest fun would be from the embarrassment and later on from the understanding that we still can relax and do not worry that others will think about us. Who cares?
You can play together with family. Children would have plenty of excitement because most of them see parents in a serious mode.
If you have time you can organize the play choosing any theme what is suitable for you and friends. It is a great way to relax and immerse in a different role and for a short time to be like in the changed world.
You make parodies as from Saturday Night Live or pick roles from the movie which you want to play.
Make A Bet
You do not need to go all way as Mell Brooks did from the movie Life Stinks, but you can use phantasy and make a deal with one or few friends and see how it goes. Do not take it so seriously, guess that something will go in this or another way.
You can do it in a friendly way without offending anybody. For example, you can bet that you will cook the meal which is challenging to make, something like the cake Napoleon. Along the process, you will have fun because you never know that is going to be.
What is most important to not look at everything to serious. Just relax and enjoy the time with friends or family.
The kite will let you be a child again, physically and mentally. I guess that you can find a park or open space where you can try playing with this heavier-than-air craft. If you could make it by yourself, it would be fun too.
You will forget your problems( if you have them) when trying to lift up in the air and later on keeping it flying around. You need to move and sometimes run, especially when the wind blows up. It is fun for you and for spectators too.
Fun activities and adults are compatible. You do not need to be embarrassed when you have fun. Try to remember when you last time did something for the first time? If you know, good for you. I hope that it was a pleasant and exciting activity.
Adults need more joy and laughter in their lives. Sometimes we look severe and stiff as old trees. Why not enjoy life at least for a few hours? Maybe, later on, we will escape wrong decisions which we make at the time of despair.
You can try at least something to do for fun. Nobody will punish you. Start with small things and later you will see that you want more. With the joy and pleasure comes freedom and balance in everything.
