April 14, 2018 By Nemira Leave a Comment

The benefits of getting up early morning are visible and massive enough to not pay attention to it. I guess that you know Robin Sharma, a famous writer and speaker. He writes the book the 5. A.M. Club. He advocates for early rising because you can accomplish more in various areas.

It is magical when you can get up early and start a new day. As Robin Sharma, an author in self-improvement and leadership, stated, when you get up at 5 A.M., the whole world is ready to accept you in his company. Still is quiet, especially if you live close to nature, such as parks or green designated areas. Having just one tree close by makes a  difference. You will hear birds suitable to enlighten your day with their songs. I do not talk about crows. I know that they are intelligent birds, but their voice?

However, if you want to get up early and be energetic for the whole day, you need to sleep quality.

Get Proper Rest

Scientists and doctors such as Carolyn Dean, M.D., and N.D. advise that sleepssleepingsleeps sleeping before midnight, which can be two or better three hours, is most beneficial for our brain. When we sleep according to nature, we get benefits from it. A clear mind, rested body, and a good mood gives us the stimulus to start a new day.

Some people cannot sleep right away because they just had a massive dinner or used stimulants such as chocolate, soda drinks, or sugar. All these things energize you and do not let you slow down. Especially the eating late interrupts the sleep. The heaviness in the stomach can bother you for long hours ahead.

Benefits Getting Up Early Morning

How will you prepare yourself for a good night’s sleep? Overall it is simple. You need to follow the same routine:

  • Getting to bed early at the same time
  • Being in a quiet environment before rest at least fifteen minutes
  • Dimming lights help you to adjust to the sleeping mode and start producing the melatonin
  • Keeping the temperature more relaxed than it was in the daytime
  • Sleeping in a comfortable bed under cozy sheets

Health Benefits Of Going Sleep Earlier

Dr. Carolyn Dean M.D., N.D. is a proponent of early getting up. The Health benefits of getting up soon are enormous. Why? Check out:

  • Ancestors went sleep first with the sun. It is coded in our genes. The body feels better when it follows the old routine.
  • Melatonin, the sleeping hormone, is produced in the dark. The body secretes melatonin between 8 and 10 p.m. It means that we get a better sleep when we go to bed earlier.
  • Teachings from Ayurveda state that the body is inactive at hours between 6-10 p.m. and hours 6-10 a.m. I felt by myself that after 10 p.m., I became energetic and could not sleep until night. According to Ayurveda, hours between 2 and 6 a.m. are the period of mental activity.

Arrangements Before Night

Going early to bed is best between 9 and 10 p.m. I can hear that somebody will argue: how about my movies or shows on TV? Nowadays, if it is crucial to you, you can set the program to see the next day what you want. However, it is happy to ask themselves if we need it? Usually, watching TV before night disturbs us. Content in these shows and movies is mostly energizing. Later, after watching TV, it is not easy to get the right proper sleep right away. Besides it, if we have had a not so, pleasant not-so-pleasant day, we would have a bunch of spinning thoughts in our heads. Adding news from TV does not help to calm the mind.

It is advisable to prepare yourself for sleep one hour before bed. You can dim the lights stand and turn off the TV. It will let you switch from active mode to a calm mood. Melatonin, the sleeping hormone produced by the body when it is dark, will work faster in a quiet environment.

 We Can Learn From Ancestors

Grandparents and grand-grandparents lived using natural cycles such as the sun. When the sun started going down, people prepared to go to bed. When the sun rose, people went after daily tasks. There have been differences between cities and lives in the country—however, lights in cities were dimmed too.

Scientists proved that light and obesity have correlations. Longer people do not sleep, and more they consume sugary products. It is a vicious cycle because, after 10 p.m., the body feels energetic again, and we rush to check what is tasty in the refrigerator or the cupboard.

Living accordingly to nature’s cycle helps us stay sane and healthier. Our ancestors had a good sleep, especially after physical labor. They did not dream about ice cream or cookies.

Time Get Up Now

Would you like to try to get up early tomorrow? Every new day is a start to something new. It is easier to prepare for changing your habits. Morning light will energize you; the smell of fresh coffee will smile at you. Of course, if you like coffee.
