It does not matter if we live now in a comfortable environment. To survive, our ancestors moved when they hunted for food, escaped from predators, and fought with intruders. The movement was and is a signal to our cells to grow.
When you exercise, muscles release select chemicals which tell your cells to grow. In another way, sedentary muscles give the signal to cells to decay. Which version is better for us? I would choose the first way: move as much as possible.

It looks like a miracle but is not a marvel because it is in our biology.
Cross-check your emotions
