How to Drink Magnesium?

Magnesium supplements come in different forms. You can find liquid forms such as magnesium chloride, powder such as magnesium citrate, or capsules such as magnesium L-threonate.

It is easy to make drinkable magnesium when you ad the liquid mineral to water. The recommended daily magnesium intake is at least 7-10mg/kg. Somebody with severe magnesium deficiency symptoms may require 15-20mg/kg of elemental magnesium. The mineral must be pure, without additional compounds.

The time to drink magnesium


The time to drink magnesium is different depending on the magnesium supplement type. What does it mean?

Magnesium supplements differ by bioavailability. Not all magnesium is absorbable at the same level.

For example, magnesium oxide absorbs at the 4% range, and magnesium sulfate does not exceed the 20 percent limit.

You will get a laxative effect from almost all magnesium supplements, which do not have complete absorption into cells.
