We hear about world hunger and climate crisis most of every day. I wonder why people who decide on how to save the world’s population do not feed it with Spirulina. Christopher Hills, called Father of Spirulina, offered solutions a few decades ago.

I would use Spirulina , but I have one burning Q? what affects does it have for renal patients ( of which I am one ) or on anyone with a restrictive diet, cause I have found a lot of herbs and such cannot be taken if you have a restrictive diet, so would I need to see my doc first before using this ?

Hello, Kevin. Overall it is better to have a conversation with your health practitioner who knows about food supplements, nutrition and prevention. Spirulina is high in proteins. Kidneys filter plenty of toxins. Spirulina’ s proteins can be to difficult to malfunctioning kidneys. I read about it from few books. Please, consult a doctor because they know you as patient. Everybody is unique and different. What is good for one, can do not work for other. All the best

Hello, Reynolds. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. I use Spirulina by myself and I see positive effects from it. I do not feel hungry as before. I was good at snacking every time when I can find what tastes good. Chocolate, cakes and ice cream were my favorite foods. Yes, they were food for me. Later I felt full for awhile. These foods no not have nutrients except chocolates. My body was requiring food again. It was a vicious cycle.
I am thankful that I can read. I looked for information because I felt what something is wrong. I knew about Spirulina before when I distributed Tianshi products.I read books from Christopher Hills. Here I found plenty information about this miraculous product.
Because I benefit from Spirulina, I think that people could benefit too. Well-being is most important thing in our lives.

Man, I wish I had seen this article years ago! As a former college and professional athlete and a former college and professional partier :), spirulina would have come in handy. Thank you for your information about spirulina. My daughter has been taking it for almost a year now with good success.
I have been thinking about taking spirulina. But I hesitate because I have an autoimmune disease that has caused my body to have some bad reaction to some other whole food supplements. Do you happen to know if there is any amount of iodine in spirulina?
Also, you mentioned that spirulina doesn’t cause mucoids in the intestines. What are mucoids?
Thank you very much.
Evelyn
Nemira says
Hi again, Evelyn. Here I copied explanation from the Wes Petereson article that ” a buildup of mucoid plaque is created in the intestines. Mucoid plaque is a thick tar-like substance that is the long-term result of undigested, uneliminated cooked food putrefying in the intestines. Cooked starches and fats in particular are a major culprit in constipation and clogging of the intestines”.
Most of cooked food is without vital nutrients because the high temperature destroys them. Spirulina is made as the nutritional supplement there all nutrients are intact and alive. It is easily digestable.
If you have autoimmune disease, look for literature about Cordyceps Sinensis and ask about it for health practitioner.
All the best, Nemira.

Hi Rina, Very informative and direct delivery of information. I am just wondering with all of the spirulina out there, how can we determine if we have bought the best or quality spirulina? Is there a way we can determine physically just by looking at it? Or is there a place of origin where a quality spirulina is being produced?
Thanks.
Nemira says
Hello here. Organic Spirulina is the same algae, just it is prepared using high standards. All vital nutrients are intact. If you would heat Spirulina, it will lose abilities to provide best nutrients to your body. It is the same as with food. If you will eat processed food such as hot dogs or potato chips, nutritional value is minimal. If you will blend fresh potatoes in blender, you will get all vitamins and the rest of nutrients. Mexico has lakes there Spirulina grows. Big companies such as EarthRise have own ponds. You can grow Spirulina by yourself too. It is best to look for organic Spirulina. The production of Spirulina follow certain rules which allow to deliver best product.
be well, Nemira.
