This text was written a few years ago when bad people did not take over food supplies and did not burn food processing factories. Bugs weren’t on the menu, and nobody thought this craziness would last three years.
Thankfully, Spirulina is around, and we must remember that nutraceutical food is a hundred times better than insects.

This was a very interesting post. I have never heard of spirulina although I have read about the benefits of other types and algae and the plankton in the ocean. Your point out the actual cost of “normal” food on our health and on the environment was well taken. it seems that something like this algae could solve much of the world’s nutritional problems. You article has stimulated me to do a lot more research. I am wondering about the growth period, harvest methods and primarily about how spiraling is delivered. From your article, it looks like it is in pill form. I am also wondering if it could be used as a supplement with daily food intake. Does it replace our proteins or provide vitamins and minerals. You have definitely got me thinking about the benefits of this algae. I have some cardiac problems which require a fairly strict diet. Hello, Anastazja. Spirulina is a miraculous algae. There are plenty of algae, but Spirulina is a winner. When you consume Spirulina, you will get all vital nutrients, proteins too. For example, Clorella is an algae, but it is too difficult to digest.
