Blending for Better Health

May 11, 2015 By Nemira 2 Comments

Blending is the easiest way for the body to get all valuable nutrients. Blending for better health is easy and funny. Powerful blenders can mix all types of food.  I forgot my spoon one time. Poor thing. It never will be in the same shape.

Blending for Better Health

By combining foods, we can provide all needed enzymes, amino acids, and minerals for the body. Most people eat processed food, which fills up our bodies. Heat cooking methods, such as saturated fats, destroy all vitamins. American diet consists mainly of junk food, full of sugar, salt, fat, and cholesterol.

Blending for Better Health

We provide our vital body nutrients when we blend food, such as fruits, nuts, seeds, or whole grains. These small food particles reach our organs faster. They digested more quickly.  The body saves energy, which can be used somewhere else.

Everybody Can Blend

Blending is good for everybody. Ill people or healthy people can enjoy the benefits of blended food. When you blend food and eat it, assimilation is straightforward and fast. Digestion does not last long hours. Most people do not have time when to eat or relax or take good care of their stomachs. If we ignore what we eat, the combination of food can not work for our profit. For example, eating fruits after dinner gives us gas and a feeling of heaviness. The fruit mixes with pieces of food. This process can produce gas.

Profit from Blending

Food, prepared in the right way, gives us the energy and nutrients needed for our journey on this Earth. We can blend anything, but it is most profitable for the body if we combine food rich in vitamins and minerals. These nutrients are vital for our immune system. Blending for better health allows us to feel well.

If the immune system is weak, we can catch faster all types of diseases. For example, vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. When we cook our food, vitamin C disappears thanks to the high temperature. It happens with all vitamins. We can find just traces of these valuable things.

When we blend, vitamins are not destroyed.  Minerals and enzymes are left in the blended food too.  Consuming mixed food, we provide the best protection and support for our bodies right away. Blending for better health allows us to be in good shape as long as possible.

Bonus of Positive Thinking

April 25, 2015 By Nemira 2 Comments

Do You Like Monday?

If you asked me, I would say that I like Monday. For me,  it is the same day as Tuesday or Friday. The bonus of positive thinking is that we do not care about minor details. We look for more important things. Otherwise, I heard from my friends that they were not so happy about the beginning of the week. What does it mean?  They want to have weekends all year long. I do not mind, but to have vacation all year can be annoying.

The Significance of Positive Attitude

We can disrespect  Monday or program themselves toward expectations. For example, an innocent animal such as a cat crosses the path, and we would believe in bad luck.

We would try to think that it is excellent, that we can get up, walk and see and hear all the little miracles of life. Sun shines or rain rains, everything is good for us and our surroundings. If we meet somebody, which is unpleasant to us, wish them all the best and do your own business. Who knows, maybe this person has a   migraine, or his dog does not eat breakfast, or his relatives will come to their house to visit when other plans have been made.

It happens. Shrug it off and forget. Put a smile on your face, and you will see that life is excellent. Other people will reflect you your smile. The bonus of positive thinking is that we save energy instead worrying.

Health Benefits of Positive Attitude

What is a positive attitude? When we do not react to all little things, which make your life a little bit complicated. Overall, everything is relative. For example, somebody did not catch the airplane and was boiling inside because they would be late for the meeting.  Later they got the news that this airplane had an accident. Of course, we would be thankful for it, but better to be calm and stable in every life situation.

When we overact or rush, we do not think about the consequences. We overeat to cover stress. Food happens to be not of the best quality. Our weight, blood pressure, and chronic diseases can show up. If we would think that everything happens for a reason and we would take what comes to us with humility and respect, our bodies would be thankful for our positive view.

Organic, from the farmers market,  bought food with all nutrients,  exercises such as yoga, martial arts, cheerful attitude, ability to have a sense of humor, and meditation will do miracles.  Our bodies can function in a way mother nature intended to be for us.

Be Thankful for Gifts of Life

Being open and grateful for everything that life gives us; makes us feel relaxed and happy every day. Going to sleep, being in a good mood, and not worrying about what will be will make your body refreshed, rejuvenated, and healthy.

The Bonus of Positive Thinking

Positive thinking lets us see everything that happens to us as life lessons. Negativity is just in our minds. If we do not feed our bodies and minds with quality food, we will have a mess. Thinking positively about life lets us reach heights in every area and situation.

We trust ourselves because we know if something unexpected happens, it is for a reason. We can try new ways if the old ones do not work. When we are positive, we can see more opportunities around. We do not judge. We are open. The bonus of positive thinking is a good mood and a balanced mind.

Can We Do Without Sugar?

March 30, 2015 By Nemira 4 Comments

Can We Do Without Sugar?

Can we do without sugar? I like sweets. I do not care for candies, but chocolate is my favorite thing. I heard that it is an addictive habit in the same way as drinking. I hope that the consequences are different from consuming 100 grams per day of chocolate. I went through a few books and found that this pleasure can cost more during my life compared with happiness eating it.

What Is Better, Chocolate, Candies, or Soda Drinks?

If chocolate consists of more than 75% cacao, it counts as the right product. Cacao has antioxidants, which protect from stress and power the immune system. However, chocolate with plenty of sugar is not real chocolate anymore.

Candies are full of sugar. The same drinks as Coca-Cola Classic and  Arizona Iced Tea contain 39 and 59 grams of sugar. What do we get from sugar? For a while, it gives us energy. However, sugar stimulates the growth of insulin. After consuming too much, sugar levels in the blood need to be regulated. Insulin performs this function. After years of too much insulin, cells give up. As Carolyn Dean, MD, ND writes: sugar cannot get into cells where it is needed to create energy, and it becomes elevated in the blood, which damages the eyes, kidneys, and heart as adult-onset diabetes.

How Risky Are Refined Dietary Sugars?

They are absent from vitamins and minerals. The scarcity of nutrients causes the terrible metabolism of cholesterol and fatty acids. Dietary sugars feed fungi and cancer cells. Not too much fun, yes? One more thing. Helke Ferrie wrote that the refining process of sugar removes 93 percent of chromium, 89 percent of manganese, 98 percent of cobalt, 83 percent of copper, 98 percent of zinc, and 98 percent of magnesium, all essential to life.

More Interesting Facts About Sugar

A lady, her name is Nancy Appleton, had battles with sugar addiction. She has a website where 136 reasons are listed why it is better to avoid sugar. We know that sugar can cause tooth decay, which sugar causes premature aging. But news about losing memory when eating too many sweets does not sound enjoyable and exciting to me. How about you? What are your thoughts about this topic?

According to Gabriel Cousens, M.D., sugar consumption per one person, a year is 125 pounds. It is a lot because it leads to the effect of low blood sugar, as in the medical world, it is called hypoglycemia.

I want to wish to break a cycle where eating a lot of sweets feels so good, but later on, the energy disappears somewhere. Sooner or later,  an option to have the piece of chocolate looks good. Some symptoms include poor concentration, feeling exhausted or angry, and sadness without reason taking over pleasure after eating delicious cake.

Can We Do Without Sugar?

Gabriel Cousens, an author of  Conscious Eating, offers this solution:

How to Break the Sweet Mind-Bind Cycle

  • Eat sprouted grain, seeds, nuts, seed sauces, sea vegetables, vegetables, or fruits at each meal.
  • Eat three regular meals at constant times.
  • Stop eating refined foods, sweets, junk, fast foods( such as anything with white sugar), chocolate, and pastries.
  • Avoid stimulants and other drugs, such as coffee and alcohol.
  • Lead a balanced life.
  • Let go of life in the last line.

Eluding Sweets

Overall, when people decide to finish with one lifestyle and start new, in this cause avoiding sweets, at first,  they feel weaker before becoming more vigorous. It is the same as withdrawal symptoms from alcohol. Our cells have memory. When the body is adjusting and changing from one unhealthy habit to a healthy one, this short process can make us feel uncomfortable for a while.

It takes some time to adjust to new habits. However, after this, we will be in lousy shape eating junk food because our bodies start to recover and have a healthy metabolism.

Can We Do Without Sugar?

Carolyn Dean, M.D., N.D., offers an excellent solution for showing children the harm of sweets. She offers to make a deal with them.  The whole week to be without sugar, except the weekend. Children can enjoy all desserts all day long. After this weekend, children can eat all the sweets. It will be an unpleasant feeling for them that something is wrong. It happens when the big load of desserts after a healthy eating style makes them feel tired and uncomfortable.

Like everything in life, changing our habits takes persistence and willingness to achieve our desired goals. What do you think?  It is worth regularly checking how we do before and after losing bad habits? Can we do without sugar? Of course, we can if we choose well-being over bad habits.

How to Stay Well Informed?

March 28, 2015 By Nemira Leave a Comment

Usually,  we have questions regarding one or another topic. How to stay well informed? Will our team win games? Do I need to put on rain boots, or will it shine today? Will we be safe and content through retirement? How about health? Long-term tasks and regular performance provide us with questions about what we should do, choose, or let go of.

How Do  People   Educate Themselves?

How To Stay Well Informed?

Usually,  most of us ask friends and relatives. Little girls or boy will ask their parents. Do they have the proper knowledge? Maybe. It depends on what kind of education and experience have their surrounding circles. It is extraordinary how far they explore unknown topics and what variety of sources they use.

 The Internet Versus Books

Nowadays, the  Internet is a chest of treasure, where you can find diamonds and broken toys, places with empty talk and advice which lead nowhere. There are sites such as Wikipedia which has a significant impact on readers. It is created and written by people from the whole world. Writers are experts in their described field. Also, companies build their websites, where information is given about their products. Otherwise, it is good to check sources twice. Feedback from real people as customers on Amazon.com  can help decide what product to choose.

I wonder how many people read books? In these valuable reference books, manuals, and textbooks, we can find the experiences and thoughts of human beings. They spend an enormous amount of time exploring, gathering facts, make discoveries and inventions.

How To Stay Well Informed?

Fiction books are for pleasure. It’s nice to dive into the writer’s fantasy world for a while. It helps relax or faster asleep. Reading for entertainment is suitable for a bit, but we need to stretch our minds. Picking the right book from a distinguished author can enormously impact our lives.

A Quote by Earl Nightingale

How To Stay Well Informed?

People are like ponds or lakes; they need a constant inflow and outflow if they want to remain healthy, clean, and teeming with life. If they are damned all around-no pun intended- there is nothing for them but endless stagnation.

A Resume

How to stay well informed? It is not enough to read newspapers. I better prefer not to read them because escalated topics do not change our lives for the better and give tension and worries. Reading books written by authorities in their field gives you insight into finding answers to your desired topic. It prompts us to create a safe environment for ourselves and our families. It does not matter if it is financial or health-related action items. They all require real experts’ advice and impact.

Our friends and family want the best for us, but if we wish for an excellent foundation for our lives, we ask architects and builders how to start. We do not have time to do everything for ourselves. There are authorities in our desired field who will help with answers to questions.

Joyjous Endings

March 28, 2015 By Nemira 4 Comments

Rainbow_Tunnel
Rainbow_Tunnel

Our lives are a constant journey. Always forward, never returning. Along the road,  we meet people who have an impact in another or another way on our lives. As I remember, my biggest heroes were from books. We started with Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairy Tales and finished with David R. Hawkins’s books.

I now understand that it was a glum theory a few years ago. I mean the book Power, Versus Force.  The author explains the kinesiology method, which enables them to give answers to most questions. Fascinating.

Encounter with Writers, Mentors,  and Doctors

A few years ago, a teacher in college gave us the task. We are supposed to write a research theme on our desired topic. I have always been into valuable things, such as chocolate, fruits, various herbs, and meditation. I choose the question regarding alternative medicine. Researching for this theme, I found doctor Carolyn Dean, which was mentioned in Shirley MacLaine’s book Sage-ing While Age-ing. You see how everything is connected. One thing leads to another.

Shirley MacLaine is an acclaimed artist, dancer, actress, and spiritual seeker. Doctor Carolyn Dean is a doctor, naturopath, lector, and book writer. They both have one thing in common: a wish to give people more information and insights about lives, theirs and mine too.

How does It Contribute to Us?

Doctor Carolyn Dean’s book Death by Modern Medicine left me speechless and confused until I finished reading it. I thought about how it could be? Why is this information not on the first pages of most prominent newspapers? Maybe it is just me who prefers carrots over food, which is filled with many elements, difficult to pronounce. This book led to other authors such as Dr. Joseph Mercola and Dr. Mehmet Oz. These doctors show us possibilities on how to be informed about what is going on.

Our lifestyle, food, and surroundings have an impact on us. Everybody wants to be young, happy, and live an adult life. Educating ourselves, exploring new topics like scientific research about the pros and cons of medicine, giving attention, and caring for ourselves and our family, prompts us to evaluate options better.

It Is Never too Late to Begin

It is never too late to live a life differently. I mean to stop smoking or start to walk short distances, laugh at yourself, help the stranger, or finish unpleasant tasks. Not everybody is lucky to have the right parents right lifestyle. Overall, who can tell what is right and what is not? I guess it is just me or you or somebody else who has the feeling inside us. If we behave in one or another way, maybe our consciousness reminds us what is okay, or we need to wait, not to rush making decisions.

Sometimes people put themselves in frames too narrow for them. It is a safe place to be.  Family and friends surround us. However, by staying in one place and not expanding our horizons, our range of understanding could be the same as a few hundred years ago. If we think about different and new directions, it could be a fresh start in our lives. We can go up from one level to another, enriching our lives, together with people’s lives who go with or follow us.
