These behavior patterns keep us in the cycle. If we do not pay attention to ignore why we are doing it in this way and what kind of consequences are iI, we will be stuck in the same place. Changing habits is not as easy as it seems. You know about New Year’s resolutions. It does not matter what it is; for most of us, these promises disappear like the mist from the sun. It is so easy to go back to old, known patterns. It does not mean that we do not want to change the old lifestyle or remove something that does not work for us from our lives.

We need to constantly guard our thoughts, behavior, and actions to protect our thoughts, behavior, and activities. The 5-second rule, created by Mel Robbins, helps change habits too.

Of course, it is not easy to change stubborn habits. If everything went smoothly, we would have plenty of happy people around. Why?  Everybody wants to see changes in all areas of their lives. Unfortunately, just a few of us get up from the couch and take action.

What and who made us without strong solid characters and stubborn will? There are plenty of reasons and explanations, but from my point of view, I see that most people in civilized countries have lost a sense of reality.

They do not know what being hungry, and afraid of bombs, or arrests mean. Every nation had its share of sorrow and loss. However, some of them forgot about it because it happened many years ago.

Most of us who do not need to worry about basic needs are content with what we have. We do not think we could live a lot better lives if we changed our habits.

What kind of habits would you ask? Discipline, responsibility and a strong wish to reach the highest ground disappear from many heads.

Get help from friends


It is an excellent thing to tell your good friends or people you trust about your intentions. They can help to keep you on track. If you do not have them, it is okay. You have the best support in the world: yourself. Give a big smile for yourself, tell yourself  I love you, and move on. For everybody, the time changing habits and speed are different.

Most importantly, you know what you want to change, and you will. Believe in yourself, and do not let anybody throw you off the chosen path. It is your life, for Pete’s sake.

Update. Robin Sharma, a famous coach, and writer, points out that we need 66 days to form a new habit or lose an old one. He says that scientists from Harvard found out that this term works. I tried by myself to drop one practice that I got from the first class. At the same time, I decided to skip Facebook for 66 days and spent my time on better things, such as time with friends or reading books. What can I tell? It worked for me. I did not have any problems with both habits. It seems that the mind can serve you in powerful ways.

Life consists of details. People stream for better jobs, relationships, or quality of life. I presume that most of us want to achieve results right away. If we found priorities in our lives, we would save plenty of time for reaching goals and dreams. Inspirations can differ from preferences. However, if you take the time to consider each of them, you can find a balance in life.

Sometimes, when we do not have what we want right away, we abandon our dreams or complain that life is not fair for us. This pattern reminds the behavior of the child who wants to have a toy now. It is easy to distract the child like the adult by giving new exciting occupations.

However, the child will grow up. The whole future lies ahead of the little human being. Adults do not have time to jump from one toy to another if they want to reach their goals or follow their inspirations.

Analyze your day


Try to look at yourself as an outsider. How do you spend your day? Where could you save your energy and time?

We often waste our precious time on things that are not important to us. They are momentary. These details showed up and disappeared. People think that they have power over something, such as mentally fixing the mistakes of others or talking about plans.

Anyway, we need to ask ourselves what is important to us. What do we want from life? What keeps us from getting from bed? The routine can be like a swamp. It can swallow us and kill all enthusiasm. Fortunately, we can know what inspires us and what kind of goals we want to reach. In this case,  the routine will be just the sequence of duties we need to perform.

Deep inside, we know that we can live more fulfilling lives. Analyzing your day helps to find out how we live. Do we waste precious minutes on details? Do we see a bigger picture?

Most of us want to reach financial freedom because it lets us do what we want. Do we know why we need it? Earl Nightingale told said that we need to be a master of money. Money must be a servant for us: a tool to achieve results or help others.

Yesterday I was irritated when I discovered that my place for the car was taken by other vehicles. I found out where I could park my car. Later,  I thought about how I was distracted by these petty things. I guess that my ego wanted to control the situation.

When we sort and calm our thoughts during meditation time, we can reach peace in our minds. It is the same as finding priorities in our lives.

What will be essential for us after a day, a week, or a few years? What helps us to evolve as human beings? What helps us to reach our goals?

I know that it is easier to find faults somewhere else. Without constant supervision, I would stay at the same point of evolution. I do not need to be superior, but I want to remove obstacles that do not let me reach my goals.

Being responsible for our actions and words and following directions and goals, which are for us, not for somebody else, keeps us on the right track. We need to always revise our tasks and actions. Controlling ourselves lets us move forward. Without it, we can return to old habits quickly.

These topics, as mentioned above, are closely correlated to our health. If something does not work for us, it throws us out of balance after stress can be problems with sleeping, tiredness, lack of concentration, etc. If we move smoothly and in balanced harmony with ourselves, our health and wealth flourish.

What does it have in common with the prevention of health?


If we are sick or unhappy, obese, and out of balance, money will not give us pleasure. Of course, it is better to be unhealthy and reside in Switzerland, somewhere in St.Moritz resort, but it is not the best way to be happy. Taking control of our health is the best way to prevent anything that could happen to us. Of course, we cannot be 100% sure that we will be well and sound until 140 years. However, staying in good shape, being sharp and fit, and being strong and healthy is the perfect match for wealth.

We can enjoy the fruits of our work when we are at the peak of our performance. I think that it is a delight to be able to travel, choose any destination, or stay anywhere where we want to be. Excellent health lets us reach our goals and achieve our dreams. It pays us enormous dividends when we improve our health, such as a fulfilling life.
